An explosion hit a bus with members of the Borussia Dortmund soccer team that was headed to a Champions League match, the club said on Tuesday. The bus was getting ready to leave the hotel where the team was staying and take the players to Dortmund.

The blast injured the team’s defender, Spanish player Marc Bartra (pictured), who was taken to hospital. The team tweeted other players are safe, while the match with Monaco has been postponed until tomorrow.

Police are currently investigating at the scene, where a North Rhine-Westphalia police spokesman said there were three explosions and the bus windows were shattered, according to the Associated Press.
