Markets in Europe traded in the green during premarket trade on Monday as investment incentives spiked after United States President Donald Trump said he is delaying the planned increase in tariffs on Chinese goods that was set to kick in on March 1, creating more hopes amid investors that a trade deal between Washington and Beijing will be reached. Meanwhile, Brexit also remained in focus after United Kingdom Prime Minister Theresa May dismissed alleged calls for her to step down.

The DAX rose 0.55% during premarket trade just before the opening bell. In the meantime, the CAC 40 increased 0.29% while the FTSE 100 gained 0.24%. The Eurostoxx 50 added 0.46%.

The euro traded 0.22% higher against the US dollar to go for 1.1356 at 8:55 am CET.
