Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak stated on Wednesday that his country intends to fully comply with the OPEC+ production cut deal in April. Speaking to the reporters, the official noted that the possibility of the agreement's extension beyond June is still on the table but that Russia hasn't made any decision on the matter so far.

"The monthly average [of Russia's crude production] will match the figures which were specified in the agreement," said Novak. He added that further extension will be discussed during the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries' (OPEC's) meeting in May while the final decision on the issue will be made during the ministerial meeting set for June.
