Nasdaq 100 turns negative, IPOs in focus

The Nasdaq 100 index turned negative on Thursday, declining 0.24% at 10:01 am ET on Wall Street soon after opening slightly in the green. Investors remained cautious as they focused on Pinterest and Zoom IPOs. Both companies are expected to start trading soon.

Meanwhile, the Dow Jones Industrial Average continued to trade higher, adding 0.15% at 10:01 am ET after gaining over 0.20% at the opening bell following the strong retail data and better-than-expected corporate earnings. The S&P 500 traded in the red, down 0.08% at the same time after opening 0.10% higher.

The euro dropped 0.40% against the US dollar to sell for 1.1250 at 10:11 am ET.
