Asia trades mixed, Hong Kong, Australia closed

Asian indexes traded mixed on Monday as markets in Hong Kong and Australia stayed closed for Easter holidays. Oil prices reached five-month highs after a report that the United States will end sanctions waivers for countries importing oil from Iran.

The Nikkei 225 added 0.11% at 4:21 am CET. South Korea's Kospi Composite index rose 0.10% at 4:01 am CET.

Mainland China's Shanghai Composite dropped 0.74% at 4:21 am CET, while the Shenzhen Composite lost 0.78% at 4:23 am CET.

The dollar was flat against the yen and sold for 111.9485 at 4:24 am CET.
