Broadcom, Apple sign 2-year supplier deal - report

United States chip maker Broadcom Inc. and tech giant Apple Inc. reportedly signed a two-year supplier deal, CNBC reported citing a securities filing.

Under the deal, the chipmaker will provide Apple with radio-frequency, modules and front-end components for a number of their products.

Shares of Broadcom rose more than 2% after the news in the after-hours trading.
