Trump: Would recommend AG to 'look into' Google's China dealings

United States President Donald Trump stated on Tuesday he would recommend the Attorney General William Barr to "look into" allegations that China's intelligence services may have infiltrated Google, a claim made by entrepreneur Peter Thiel.

Tech investor and Facebook Inc. board member Thiel implied recently that Google's senior management was "thoroughly infiltrated" by Chinese intelligence agencies and alleged that the tech giant colluded with Beijing on militarily applicable technology.

Earlier in the day, Trump praised Thiel on Twitter as a "great and brilliant guy who knows this subject better than anyone!" Google has since denied the allegations.
