State attorneys general and antitrust experts held a meeting to determine the possibility of building an antitrust case against Facebook Inc., according to the Wall Street Journal's sources.

New York Attorney General Letitia James (pictured middle) reportedly hosted the six-hour-long meeting in her office, but her spokesperson did not disclose any details. Alphabet Inc.’s Google could be the subject of discussion in the near future.

It was reported two weeks ago that James talked about an investigation into Facebook with the Department of Justice (DoJ) officials in Washington.
