Saudi Arabia's Oil Minister Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud said on Friday that the global oil market should "trust" the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and allied producers' efforts to stabilize crude prices.

Speaking at the cartel's meeting in Vienna, he urged cooperation and compliance among oil-producing countries in order to achieve sustainable economic growth and to ensure the world economy is well-supplied.

Further commitment and conformity will only allow major oil producers to benefit, he stated, before highlighting he hopes the group will assure everyone that the OPEC+ deal will be adhered to.
