Iraqi energy min: We can conform better to OPEC+ cuts

Iraqi Energy Minister Thamir Abbas Al-Ghadban said on Friday that Iraq is closer to conformity on OPEC+ cuts than earlier since it reached a deal with the regional government of Iraqi Kurdistan that says the federal government in Baghdad will control the production of an additional 250,000 barrels per day from Kurdistan.

He added that Iraq's oil production quota was reduced by 50,000 barrels per day at this week's OPEC+ meeting to 4.462 million barrels per day.

Earleri, OPEC+ confirmed it introduced additional cuts of 500,000 barrels per day.
