Japanese Economic Revitalization Minister Yasutoshi Nishimura (pictured) said the country has to "urgently" impose measures for countering the coronavirus outbreak.

He went on to explain action has to be taken due to a recent spike in untraceable cases amongst the older population.

Previously, the nation's chief cabinet secretary noted there is no need to reintroduce a state of emergency, despite the number of cases rising in the capital as of late.
