Walgreens and DoorDash will be working together to enable customers to use on-demand delivery services from Walgreens via DoorDash in a number of cities in the United States, the companies announced on Thursday. The service will be available free of charge to DoorDash's DashPass subscribers for orders over $12.

"Our collaboration with DoorDash is the latest example of our ongoing focus on enhancing our customer experience with new convenient, accessible and safe shopping and delivery options. We continue to offer additional ways to get essential retail products into the hands of customers at their door stoop or wherever and whenever is most convenient for them," vice president, digital commerce and omni-channel at Walgreens, Stefanie Kruse said.

The service is already available in Chicago, Atlanta and Denver, but it will expand to Cincinnati, Cleveland, Minneapolis, Oklahoma City, Phoenix, Sacramento and Seattle before the end of 2020.
