JD.com's Q2 revenue up 33.5% YoY to $28.5B

Chinese e-commerce company JD.com reported on Monday that its revenue yearly surged 33.5% in the second quarter of the year to reach $28.5 billion. During the same period, JD's diluted net income per American Depositary Share jumped 30 times to $1.48. Active customer accounts soared 29.9% to 417.4 million in the twelve months ending June 30.

"Since the COVID-19 outbreak, JD has steadfastly leveraged its distinctive supply chain and technology capabilities to contribute to society and ensure the steady supply and undisrupted delivery of daily necessities to consumers, while helping to create jobs within our ecosystem and support business partners amidst the dynamic economic environment," the company's CEO Richard Liu said in the report.
