Eric Trump (pictured), son of United States President Donald Trump and top executive of the Trump Organization, will have to provide testimony as a part of New York State Attorney General Letitia James's investigation into the company dealings.

On Wednesday, New York State Supreme Court Judge Arthur Engoron ordered Eric Trump to testify no later than October 7. Legal representatives of Donald Trump's son stated earlier that he would comply with the order only after the US presidential election.

In late August, it has been reported that James was investigating whether the Trump Organization inflated the evaluation figures of the company assets so it could receive bank loans and other economic and tax benefits.
