Spain reports 19,851 new COVID cases

The Spanish Ministry of Health announced on Friday that there have been 19,851 people diagnosed with the COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, rising the number of total cases to 1,046,132.

According to the last information, the deaths reached the number of 231 within the last 24 hours, with the final number of deceased climbing to 34,752.

Presidents of the Spanish autonomous communities of Castilla y Leon and Valencia, Alfonso Fernandez Manueco and Ximo Puig, confirmed earlier they had asked the country's Health Minister Salvador Illa to impose a night-time curfew to curb further spread of coronavirus.
