FB, Google, Twitter say they are ready to act on election day

Big tech CEOs said in the United States Senate on Wednesday that they are prepared to act on any disinformation campaigns on or after election day in the US next week.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg stressed his social media platform is prepared to act to stop candidates or their campaigns from delegitimizing elections, prematurely declaring victory or spreading voter disinformation.

Meanwhile, Google's Sundar Pichai stressed his company partnered with the Associated Press to "provide more accurate" information on the elections. Meanwhile, Twitter founder Jack Dorsey added they his company will use official information from state election officials to give as much reliable information as possible to users.
