JD.com's Q3 revenue up 29% YoY to $25.7B

JD.com Inc. reported on Monday its revenue in the third fiscal quarter rose 29% year-over-year to stand at $25.7 billion. Cost of revenues grew 29% to $21.7 billion, while income from operations fell 12% during the same period to $645.6 million. Net income surged over 1000% to $1.1 billion, or $0.69 per share.

Per segment, net product revenues rose 27% year-on-year to $22.3 billion. Net service revenue jumped 43% compared to the Q3 2019 to $3.4 billion.

"As China emerges from the pandemic, we are glad to see that our business partners are recovering rapidly with the support of our online and offline supply chain infrastructure. And our consumer mindshare continues to expand with over 100 million new active users joining our platform compared to a year ago," Chairman and CEO Richard Liu said in the press release.
