ThyssenKrupp plunges to lowest level since 2003

Shares of German steel giant ThyssenKrupp plummeted to an almost 16-year low of €11.03 in early trading on Monday.

Last week, ThyssenKrupp announced it acquired the elevator division of the Nashville Machine Company as it aims to boost its elevator business ahead of the unit's planned initial public offering (IPO).

ThyssenKrupp stock fell 1.90% to €11.12 at 10:46 am CET.
