US equities ended the trading session on Wednesday in the green, recovering from losses earlier in the week as the tech sector led the gains. One of the best performers in today’s session was Apple Inc. whose shares added to yesterday's gains following the announcement of a number of new services and devices.

Traders’ concerns were somewhat eased thanks to China’s announcement about removing some of US goods from the tariff list, the move which United States President Donald Trump described as "big."

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 227 points or 0.84% at the end of the session thanks to Boeing and Apple surging 3.64% and 3.18%, respectively. The Nasdaq 100 jumped 0.93% at the close as Ctrip.com International soared 5.71%. The S&P 500, meanwhile, gained 0.72% bolstered by CenturyLink Inc. whose shares added 5.63%.

The euro declined 0.30% against the US dollar, changing hands for 1.10098 at 4:30 pm ET.
