BMW AG’s new chief executive Oliver Zipse said on Sunday that the company would like to find more partners for the mobility services venture it created with rival automaker Daimler AG.

Zipse told Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung that the company "would like to welcome additional partners in this area, which has great future potential."

He added that "collaborations, as well as financial investments, were options for any future partners."

The two companies merged Daimler’s Car2Go car-sharing business with BMW’s DriveNow, ParkNow and ChargeNow businesses, with each holding 50% stake in the venture.
