Sephora, LVMH-owned beauty retailer, intends to expand its store network with an additional 100 locations in 2020, senior vice president of Real Estate and Store Development at Sephora Americas Jeff Gaul told CNBC on Tuesday.

Gaul added that the focus of this next 100 stores will not be on malls, but on "off-mall locations," noting that the next set of stores will be slightly smaller than existing ones, about 4,000 square feet as opposed to 5,500.

Moet Henessy Louis Vuitton does not breakdown Sephora's revenue, but estimates put the yearly figure around $4 billion.

Sephora's parent's stock added 1.71% on the Euronext stock exchange at 1:51 pm CET.
