ThyssenKrupp reports net loss of €948M in Q2 |

German industrial conglomerate ThyssenKrupp AG said on Tuesday its net loss in the quarter ending March 31 was €948 million, a significant increase from the €173 million reported a year earlier. In the same earnings report, the company said quarterly net sales fell to €10.11 billion during the same period, while adjusted earnings before interest and taxes dropped to €80 million. ThyssenKrupp previously withdrew its forecast for the 2019/2020 fiscal year amid the coronavirus pandemic, which has disrupted key aspects of its business. |
