Daimler could cut up to 30,000 jobs - report

Daimler AG may reduce its workforce by 30% due to the coronavirus crisis, Manager Magazine reported on Wednesday.

The company aims to cut fixed costs in Europe by 22%, the report said, planning to ax up to 30,000 jobs globally, including vacant positions.

Daimler CEO Ola Kallenius is reportedly set to present its saving plan to the Supervisory Board by the end of the month.
