Amazon sets its Prime Day on October 13 and 14

American multinational technology company announced on Monday date for this year’s Prime Day. The event will start on October 13 and will last 48 hours. Prime Day event started back in 2015 and is usually held in July. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, it has been delayed this year.

Members who have Amazon’s Prime subscription will, therefore, have access to "over 1 million deals across every category," according to the company’s announcement.

Jamil Ghani, vice president of Prime commented that the company came to "the decision that October 13 and 14 is the right time for us to Prime Day. We feel like the preparation we’ve done all year and for 20 years before that ensures that we will have a successful and, very importantly, a safe Prime Day."
