IATA: Aviation revenues to drop by 46% in 2021

Aviation revenues will fall by 46% in 2021 when compared to 2019 total revenues of $838 billion, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) revealed on Tuesday.

According to its estimates, IATA said that cash burn will be neutralized by 2021 while unit costs will decrease by 30% compared to this year's average cask.

Meanwhile, the organization added that it sees full-year 2020 traffic dropping 66% compared to 2019. Additionally, December demand is forecast to fall 68% from the previous year.
