Europe mostly up premarket amid vaccine news

Shares on major European stock markets went mostly up on Wednesday as the investors were monitoring the US presidential election and positive coronavirus vaccine news that boosted global sentiment. Outgoing US President Donald Trump also showed up at a press conference on Tuesday to comment on the Dow Jones' biggest rise ever.

The DAX stood flat at 7:45 am CET, while, at the same time, the FTSE 100 rose by 0.16% and the CAC 40 advanced by 0.19%.

The euro stood flat against the dollar to sell for $1.18946 at 7:47 am CET. The pound sterling went down by 0.12% against the United States' currency to exchange hands for $1.33460 at the same time.
