Europe starts higher as Brexit rally continues

Major European stock markets opened in the green on Tuesday as the rally fueled by the post-Brexit trade deal continued. The European Union's Committee of Permanent Representatives (COREPER) unanimously approved the agreement reached last week, while the United Kingdom parliament is set to vote on it on Wednesday.

The FTSE 100 jumped 1.14% at 9:00 am CET. IAG was the best performer as its shares soared 3.99% at 9:02 am CET.

The DAX climbed 0.61% at 9:02 am CET. MTU Aero Engines led the gains, trading 1.96% higher at 9:04 am CET.

The CAC 40 rose 0.38% at 9:00 am CET with Renault gaining 1.25%.

The euro gained 0.23% against the dollar to sell for 1.22414 at 9:02 am CET and the pound increased 0.50% compared to the US currency to go for 1.35091 at the same time.
