Asian markets higher after Fed minutes, Japan data

Asian markets traded higher on Thursday despite the release of the Federal Reserve minutes that highlighted the possibilities of a "sharper-than-expected slowdown in global economic growth", particularly in China. In Japan, Nikkei manufacturing PMI for February fell to 32-month low of 48.5.

Japanese Nikkei 225 traded 0.28% in the green at 4:13 am CET. The dollar was 0.01% lower against the yen, to go for 110.8275 at 4:11 am CET.

China's Shanghai Composite was up 0.30% at 4:14 am CET while Shenzhen Composite traded 0.57% in the green at the same time.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng traded 0.30% higher at 4:13 am CET. South Korean Kospi Composite was down 0.11% at 4:15 am CET.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 went up 0.79% at 4:14 am CET.
