US stocks continue to rise premarket, Nasdaq up over 1%

United States markets were higher premarket on Tuesday ahead of the highly anticipated meeting of the Federal Reserve, where the bank could potentially announce interest rate cuts. Meanwhile, tech giant Microsoft Corp. said it will restart sales of Huawei laptops despite the ban imposed on the Chinese company by the US Commerce Department.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.30% or approximately 79 points premarket. The Nasdaq 100 added 1.21%, while the S&P 500 increased by 0.39% during Tuesday's premarket trading.

The euro fell 0.29% against the dollar, selling for 1.1185 at 5:58 am ET.
