Intel beats estimates with revenue at $20B in Q4

Intel Corporation revealed on Thursday that its net revenue in the fourth quarter of 2020 was $20 billion, which is down by 1% in comparison to the fourth quarter of last year. GAAP earnings per share slid 10% year on year to $1.42 and GAAP net income dropped 15% to $5.9 billion.

For the fiscal year of 2020, Intel’s revenue landed at $77.9 billion, up by 8% compared to 2019, while yearly net income decreased by 1% to $20.9 billion, and the EPS grew from $4.71 to $4.94.

"Demand for the computing performance Intel delivers remains very strong and our focus on growth opportunities is paying off. It has been an honor to lead this wonderful company, and I am proud of what we have achieved as a team," said Bob Swan in his last statement as Intel's CEO before stepping down on February 15.
