Markets in the United States closed mixed on Friday ahead of Memorial Day weekend. Trade fears were somewhat subdued after US President Donald Trump said he expects a deal with China "fast." "It's happening, it's happening fast and I think things probably are going to happen with China fast because I cannot imagine that they can be thrilled with thousands of companies leaving their shores for other places," he stated.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.37% led higher by Boeing whose shares jumped 1.24%. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 was up 0.14% as Total System Services rocketed nearly 14%. The Nasdaq 100 declined 0.10%; Autodesk, Inc. sank 4.93% as the worst performer.
