United States President Donald Trump reiterated on Monday the "country is doing great" and praised the stock market performance after the S&P 500 opened at a record high.

"The S&P just hit an ALL TIME HIGH. This is a big win for jobs, 401-K’s, and, frankly, EVERYONE! Our Country is doing great. Even killed long sought ISIS murderer, Al-Baghdadi. We are stronger than ever before, with GREAT upward potential. Enjoy!" he wrote on Twitter.

Trading on Wall Street kicked off in the green on Monday with the S&P 500 hitting a fresh record high of 3,032 points at the opening bell.
