Wall Street closes at new record highs

The United States stock markets finished the last trading session of the week at a new record high on positive economic data. The University of Michigan's preliminary data report showed consumer sentiment was slightly better-than-expected in November. US Census Bureau said the country's wholesale inventories were down 0.4% in September. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump disputed the statement from the Chinese Commerce Ministry, asserting he did not agree to roll back tariffs on Chinese goods.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up just 0.02%, with the Walt Disney Company gaining 3.75%. The Nasdaq 100 rose 0.44%, led by the Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc.'s 4.72% jump. The S&P 500 increased 0.26%, as AbbVie Inc. grew 3.94%.

The euro fell 0.22% against the dollar at 3:59 pm ET, to change hands for $1.10214. The pound lost 0.24% to $1.27834 at the same time.
