AMD's stocks rise to record highs after Tencent deal

Following the announcement on Tuesday that Chinese Tencent has opted to use Advanced Micro Devices' second-generation EPYC processors for its cloud computing service, the shares of the American semiconductor manufacturer spiked on Wednesday, hitting an all-time high and breaking the record further.

AMD's shares surged 3.04% at 11:19 am ET, to trade at $37.82 after reaching an all-time high price of $37.96.
