Lululemon Athletica Inc. announced its chief operating officer Stuart Haselden is leaving the company effective January.

Haselden, who joined Vancouver-based athletic apparel retailer in 2015, is being hired by lead privately-owned luggage maker Away, where he will join the company's board alongside its co-founders.

Away was founded in 2016 and is currently valued at $1.4 billion. The company recently doubled its workforce to 600 employees worldwide, while also hiring eight new vice presidents.
