Apple's Enterprise Program to help digitalization - Cook

Thursday, 12. December 2019 17:49

Apple's Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook said on Thursday the company's Developer Enterprise Program is "growing faster than the company as a whole" as more companies decide for the digitalization of their work process. The program is meant for large organizations and companies that have a minimum of 100 employees in order for them to customize in-house apps on the iOS platform.

In his visit to Singapore Airlines' (SIA) headquarters, Cook noted that "many [companies] need to convert to mobile, and even more need to convert to having apps that are written in the way that their employees are using them at home and so forth." He added that Apple is continuing to invest more admitting that "quite frankly the business is growing fast and we want to make sure we’re putting enough in there."

Except for SIA, Apple's clients include UK retailer John Lewis & Partners, American financial services firm Capital One and Queensland Police in Australia.
