Apple closing 14 stores in Florida as virus cases surge

Apple announced on Thursday that it will close again 14 of its stores in Florida amid the rising number of COVID-19 infections in the state.

The Cupertino-based tech giant previously announced the closure of 7 of its stores in Houston, Texas, due to the resurgence of the virus there.

Earlier, Florida reported over 5,000 new COVID-19 infections, while hospitalizations surged in Texas over the past several days as well.
