Apple MacBook shipments to grow 20% in Q3 - report

Apple is set to significantly increase its new MacBook Pro orders in late third-quarter of 2020 and will see the number of overall MacBook shipments rise more than 20% in the same quarter, according to DigiTimes' report published on Monday.

Apple shipped at least 3.5 million MacBooks in the second quarter of the year, and the volumes are expected to grow to around four million units in the third quarter.

One of the main reasons for rising sales in the creative market is the increase in the number of people working from home. As some countries are already re-imposing regional and city lockdowns due to the coronavirus, it is expected that these numbers will remain stable in the second half of the year.
