European stocks turn positive after slow start

Markets in Europe turned positive on Wednesday after starting the session in the red as investors digested positive inflation data from the United Kingdom.

The DAX rose 0.20% at 10:25 am CET as Wirecard, which is set to exit the index later this month, surged 6.60%.

The FTSE 100 was up 0.1% at 10:26 am CET. IAG led the gains as its stock climbed 2.92% at 10:27 am CET.

The CAC 40 added 0.18% at 10:26 am CET. The best performer was Dassault Systemes, up 1.32% at 10:28 am CET.

The euro was flat against the dollar to go for 1.19358 at 10:28 am CET.
