Comcast revenue falls 4.8% to $25.5B in Q3

Comcast Corporation unveiled on Thursday that its revenue for the third fiscal quarter of 2020 stood at $25.53 billion, sliding 4.8% year-over-year, while earnings per share (EPS) slumped 37.1% annually to $0.44.

The Philadelphia-based firm said its net cash provided by operating activities was at $5.23 billion in the third fiscal semester, increasing 0.7% compared to the same quarter in 2019.

"This third quarter, we delivered the best broadband results in our company’s history. Driven by our industry-leading platform and strategic focus on broadband, aggregation and streaming, we added a record 633,000 high-speed internet customers and 556,000 total net new customer relationships," Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Comcast Corporation Brian Roberts commented on results.

The company's shares rose 2.93% to $43.21 in premarket trading after the earnings release was published.
