Twitter plummets 14% premarket after earnings

Twitter dropped over 14% in premarket trade on Friday following an underwhelming increase in monthly daily average users in its earnings report. Other tech giants traded in the red premarket as well. Apple Inc., Inc. and Facebook Inc. all went down before the opening bell following their earnings.

Twitter traded 14.08% lower at 6:40 am ET, selling for $52.43. Apple dipped 4% and went for $115.32 at 6:41 am ET. Facebook lost 2.08% to sell for $280.83 at 6:42 am ET, and Amazon was 1.30% lower and traded for $3,211.01 at the same time.
