Leonhard Birnbaum will be serving as president of E.ON SE's Board of Directors from April next year, the company's Supervisory Board announced on Tuesday. E.ON Supervisory Board Chairman Karl-Ludwig Kley stated that "the Supervisory Board is convinced that Leonhard Birnbaum is the right person for this task. He has played a key role in shaping the transformation of the energy industry over the past 20 years in various top positions and is regarded as a bridge-builder." Birnbaum will succeed Johannes Teyssen, who has served as E.ON's head for more than a decade. |
