Silver rises over 2% after Trump signs relief bill

Precious metals traded with gains on Monday, with silver jumping over 2% after United States President Donald Trump signed legislation on the latest COVID-19 stimulus package and on government funding.

Prices of spot gold were up 0.20% at $1,883.30 at 4:44 am ET. Silver rose by 2.08% to $26.33 per ounce at 4:46 am ET.

Meanwhile, platinum was up 1.08%, going for $1,036.98 per ounce at 4:47 am ET and palladium went for $1,364.44 at the same time, increasing 0.83%.
