All US Apple stores open, first since March 2020

Monday, 01. March 2021 16:53

All 270 Apple stores in the United States opened for business on Monday for the first time since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic as the last closed location in Texas reopened. However, not all stores can accommodate walk-ins at full capacity.

Apple announced the closing of all its stores outside of Greater China due to COVID-19 on March 13, 2020, two weeks prior to the official federal lockdown. Since then the availability of walk-in stores around the world fluctuated and the company experimented with new services, such as "express pickup" and appointment-only sessions.

On the global market, twelve Apple stores in France and two in Brazil remain closed, while two additional stores in Mexico are reported to open on Tuesday.
