Wall Street seen higher while trade tensions continue

United States stock index futures pointed to a higher open on Thursday despite the fact that investors remained worried about the ongoing trade tensions between Washington and Beijing. Meanwhile, economic data was also in focus today with market watchers anticipating jobless claims report due later today before the opening bell on Wall Street. The earnings season slowly kicked off with Nike quarterly results set for release after the close.

The Dow Jones is seen rising 0.27%, the Nasdaq 100 is expected to start 0.30% in the green and the S&P 500 is set to gain 0.28%.

The euro added 0.30% against the US dollar to sell for 1.1589 at 12:54 pm CET.
