Tata Motors Limited's subsidiary Jaguar Land Rover plc announced on Tuesday that Thierry Bollore (pictured) will become the company's new CEO, starting with September 10, 2020.

Bollore was previously Groupe Renault's chief executive, describing his departure as a "coup," according to French media. He will replace Ralf Speth, who decided to step down.

"An established global business leader with a proven track record of implementing complex transformations, Thierry will bring a wealth of experience to one of the most revered positions in the industry," Chairman of Tata Sons, Tata Motors and Jaguar Land Rover plc Natarajan Chandrasekaran said of the hire in a press release.
