Wall Street slightly lower in premarket as investors eye Fed

Wall Street was slightly lower on Wednesday as strong oil prices continued to dominate the markets following the Saudi Aramco attacks which led to increased tensions between the United States and Iran. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump stated that a trade deal with China could be reached before the 2020 election. Later in the day, the US Federal Reserve will announce its interest rate decision.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 0.08% at 4:13 am ET. The Nasdaq 100 was flat, declining 0.04% at 4:14 am ET while, at the same time, the S&P 500 decreased by 0.07%.

The euro fell 0.17% against the dollar to 1.10544 at 4:15 am ET and the pound declined 0.19% compared to the US currency to go for 1.24757 at 4:15 am ET. The greenback was 0.07% in the green against the yen, changing hands for 108.1860 at 4:16 am ET,
