Asian markets mixed amid potential trade deal delay

Asian markets fell on Thursday amid potential delay in the signing of the trade deal between the United States and China. It has been reported on Wednesday that President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping’s meeting to sign an interim trade deal could be delayed until December when two countries settle for the exact time and venue.

The Nikkei 225 declined 0.08% at 4:44 am CET. In mainland China, the Shenzhen Composite grew 0.10% at 4:36 am CET while the Shanghai Composite fell 0.30% at 4:30 am CET. South Korea KOSPI declined 0.12% at 4:47 am CET and Australian S&P/ASX 200 increased by 0.86% at 4:47 am CET.

The dollar fell against yen and traded for 108.6670 or 0.26% down at 4:49 am CET.
