Over 150 business executives from some of the biggest companies in the United States voiced their support to the President Joe Biden-proposed coronavirus economic relief plan in a letter sent on Wednesday.

The business leaders, including those from Goldman Sachs Group Inc., Blackstone Group Inc., Google LLC, Intel Corporation, IBM Corporation, American Airlines Inc. and United Airlines Inc., said that previous stimulus measures implemented by the US government "have been essential, but more must be done to put the country on a trajectory for a strong, durable recovery."

The top US executives reportedly urged Congress to "act swiftly and on a bipartisan basis to authorize a stimulus and relief package along the lines of the Biden-Harris administration's proposed American Rescue Plan."
