Palladium jumps over 1% to new all-time high

The price of palladium, which is widely used in catalytic converters for the auto industry, surged on Monday to its new all-time high, amid a surge in oil prices sparked by supply worries over recent attacks on Saudi Aramco's facilities.

At 9:37 am CET, palladium was up by 1.00% to $1,627.26 per ounce. Meanwhile, silver jumped 2.51% at 9:49 am CET, going for $17.88 per ounce, as gold added 1.09% at 9:50 am CET, selling for $1,504.14.

Platinum increased 0.68% at 9:51 am CET to change hands for $955.07 per ounce.
